Someday

Days of hitting the streets, where nothing of concern comes to mind, other than the routine "what time we going", "where we going", "who's going" and of course issues pertaining to money. And then news of the death of an icon suddenly stops u straight in yr tracks and make u wonder. Life is indeed very unpredictable. When you are on a high, a seemingly neverending stream of fun and good things fall in your way, one small incident can ruin everything and plummet you back to the dark depths. When you've been in the abyss for so long, awaiting that ray of light to shine in yr life, expecting that it will, since bad things cant happen again and again. But then, instead of rising, your life is pillaged more, inundated by bad things, sinking you deeper. You can't play God and determine certain things. One of them is death. Death occurs every single day, and it can knock on your door at any time. Not necessarily when you are old and afflicted with diseases, when you're in dire straights etc. It comes at ANY time. Even while typing this, I could suddenly die. You're walking to school, you could be knocked down by a car (maybe Barricade. ok wth). Guess its time we learn to take nothing for granted.

#1 = Learn to appreciate the simple things. A small gesture of appreciation goes a much longer way than you think. Appreciate the people in your life, and what they've done for you.

R.I.P. Michael Jackson [Mikael Yacksun] :(
